About the Treatment
Your treatment is carried out using professional waxing products and techniques to ensure effective hair removal while keeping the skin as comfortable as possible.
We understand that waxing can feel a little daunting, especially for first-time clients. You’ll be made to feel at ease throughout, and we will always work at a pace that suits you.
Hygiene, privacy and client comfort are always a priority. If you have any concerns or would like to discuss your treatment beforehand, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
Before Your Waxing Treatment
For best results, please follow these guidelines before your appointment:
-
Hair should be long enough for the wax to grip (around 5mm or more)
-
Avoid shaving between appointments
-
Make sure the skin is clean and free from oils, lotions or deodorant
-
Avoid heavy exercise immediately before your appointment
-
If you are concerned about sensitivity, you may wish to take a mild pain relief beforehand
If you’re unsure whether your hair is long enough, it’s always best to leave it a little longer.
Waxing After Treatment Advice
After your treatment, the skin may feel slightly sensitive. This is completely normal and usually settles within 24–48 hours.
To help your skin recover:
-
Avoid heat (hot baths, saunas, steam rooms) for 24–48 hours
-
Avoid exercise and friction on the area
-
Wear loose, comfortable clothing
-
Do not touch or irritate the area unnecessarily
-
Keep the skin clean and allow it to settle naturally
If you experience any prolonged irritation, please get in touch.

FAQs
If you’re unsure what to book, simply select the areas you would like treated.
For example:
-
Back or chest waxing
-
Legs or arms
-
Underarms
-
Intimate waxing
You do not need to book a “full body” treatment — just choose the areas you would like done.
If you’re unsure on timing, it’s best to book the main area and we can adjust on the day where possible.
All availability is shown in the online booking system, so you can choose a time that works best for you.
Warm wax (strip wax) is applied in a thin layer and removed with a paper or fabric strip. It’s quick and effective, making it ideal for larger areas such as the back, chest, arms and legs.
Hot wax is applied slightly thicker and removed without strips. It sets around the hair and shrink-wraps the follicle, making it more effective for shorter, coarse hair and more comfortable on sensitive areas. It can also be reapplied without irritating the skin.
For most body areas, we use roller (strip) wax, which is efficient and ideal for larger areas such as the back, chest and legs.
For more sensitive areas (such as underarms or intimate waxing), we use hot wax, which grips the hair more effectively and is generally more comfortable on coarse or deeply rooted hair.
There can be some discomfort, particularly for your first treatment, but it is usually less than expected.
With good technique and high-quality wax, most clients find it very manageable. Regular waxing also becomes more comfortable over time as the hair weakens.
No need, we will take care of any trimming for you.
Hair needs to be long enough for the wax to grip properly, so it’s best not to shave before your appointment. If the hair is too short, results may be less effective.
Some redness or small bumps can be normal after waxing, especially if it’s your first time, and usually settle within 24–48 hours.
Following the correct aftercare and regular exfoliation will help keep the skin clear and reduce the risk of ingrown hairs.
Most clients remain smooth for around 3–6 weeks, depending on their hair growth cycle.
Regular waxing helps the hair grow back softer and finer over time.
We usually recommend booking every 4–6 weeks to maintain the best results and keep hair growth consistent.
Not at all, this is a professional treatment, and your comfort and privacy are always a priority.
You’ll be guided throughout the treatment and made to feel at ease, whether it’s your first time or not.
It’s best to avoid exercise, heat and friction for 24–48 hours after your treatment to allow the skin to settle properly.
Shaving cuts the hair at the surface, which can lead to stubble and irritation.
Waxing removes hair from the root, giving smoother results for longer. Avoiding shaving also helps maintain your waxing results and makes future treatments more comfortable.
