Some of these nail suppliers we have worked with for over 20 years, we are always looking to find new and innovative treatments but we will always take into consideration whether the company’s ethics are similar to our own.
Our main brand of choice is BioSculpture, we have used their gel nail products for over 15 years. All their gels are cruelty-free and vegan-friendly and 8 years ago they started manufacturing synthetic brushes to allow us to offer a fully vegan gel nail treatment. They have since created their ‘Ethos’ nail treatment range and ‘Gemini’ nail polish colours which have allowed us to broaden our vegan-friendly treatments.
Footlogix® is the world’s first and only Pediceutical® foot care line offering innovative products that provide effective and transformational results. Being 100% vegan it made our list! Its innovative foot-care line is formulated to provide effective, transformational care for a variety of skin conditions affecting the feet – from simple dryness to more severe conditions resulting from Diabetes.
LCN Spa-balance products are our current goto for vegan-friendly manicure treatments. Established in 1984 LCN has always been cruelty-free and this particular range offers intensively nourishing treatments for hands.
I have offered OPI manicures for over 20 years, they have always been one of the world leaders in professional nail care and offer heavily-pigmented lacquers that are super rich, long-lasting, and chip-resistant. Since Coty acquired OPI in 2010 they started selling their products to China and as such no longer appeared on PETA’s list of companies that do not test on animals. Since the takeover, we stopped buying products from OPI and Coty. We are against animal testing as much as we are against waste, due to the high quality of the previously purchased nail products we still offer their nail colours as part of our manicure. However, once those colours have been used we will not be replacing them.
