  • Payment Terms

    Fees are payable on a monthly basis. If you are zero-hours sharing and scheduling timeslots, this can be paid at the end of each month. If you are booking the rooms in advance, the fees must be paid in advance. Fees are to be paid by electronic transfer to the account nominated by Tenant.
  • Recitals

    1. Tenant leases the Premises to carry on a beauty therapy business; 2. Co-occupant is looking for similar premises to carry on the Approved Business. 3. Tenant and Co-occupant have agreed to share the Premises on the terms set out in this Space Sharing Agreement.

  • General Terms and Conditions

    Agreement and Interpretation. The Agreement comprises these General Terms and the Contract Details. Capitalised words used in these General Terms shall have the meanings assigned in the Contract Details unless the context requires otherwise. Shared Space. The Tenant carries on a beauty therapy business at the Premises. To maximise the use of the Premises and to gain cost efficiency the Tenant may, from time to time, make the Premises available for shared use by other small business in the same or similar industry (“Shared Space”). Access to and use of the Shared Space is subject to their compliance with this Agreement. Term and Termination. 1.1. This Agreement shall run for the Term which automatically renew unless either the Tenant or Co-occupant terminates the Agreement or notifies the other at least 60 days before the expiry of the then current Term that it does not wish to renew the Agreement. 1.2. This Agreement may be terminated by either party: (i) with immediate effect, in the event of a material breach of the Agreement which is not cured (where a cure is possible); (ii) for any reason by giving at least 30 days prior written notice. Access and Use of Shared Space. 1.3. Subject to the payment of the Fees, Tenant agrees to allow Co-Occupant to access and use the Shared Space on the Permitted Days/Times for the Approved Business during the Term. 1.4. Co-occupant understands that is use of the Shared Space is non-exclusive, is not transferable and not assignable to any person. Co-occupant does not acquire any rights, title or interest to the Premises and has no rights to enforce the terms of any lease on the Premises. Restrictions. Co-occupant is not permitted to: (i) use the Shared Space of any other purpose of the than the Approved Business or allow any other period to conduct any other business on the Premises; (ii) display any signage on the building or any external facing windows; (iii) use the address of the Premises for any corporate or business registration without Tenant’s prior written consent. Co-occupant shall not do any thing which may cause Tenant to be in breach of its lease on the Premises. Shared Services. The parties shall work cooperatively each other, and each other co-occupants (if any), to provide shared services in the Shared Space including (i) reception; (ii) cleaning of Premises and toilet facilities. Fees. Co-occupant shall pay the Fees in accordance with the agreed Payment Terms. Tenant shall be entitled to charge late payment fees at a rate of 10% for any amounts not paid on the due date. Insurance. Co-occupant shall at all times maintain current insurance policies for risks applicable to is business and industry but, as a minimum, must include coverage for personal injury, death and property damage, and professional negligence. Co-occupant takes full responsibility for operation, maintenance, of loss of its property on the Premises. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Tenant shall have no liability Co-occupant for: (i) any loss or damage whatsoever or howsoever caused arising directly or indirectly in connection with this Agreement, the Shared Space or otherwise; (ii) any loss of profits, business, revenue, goodwill or savings or other expected benefits, or any liability of client; or Indemnity. Co-occupant agrees to indemnify Tenant any and all claims, liabilities, costs, loss, and causes of action relating to personal injury, death or property damage arising from the Co-occupant's conduct or omission.
  • UNDERSTANDING

    The space-sharing agreement is for co-occupant to conduct their approved services at Turn Beautiful, 12 Market Street, Brighton, BN1 1HH, with the intention that all practitioners will practice mutually supportive businesses. You will not have exclusive use of the premises but will share the use with other practitioners. You will use the premises only for the purpose of the salon and will not use the premises for any illegal or immoral purposes and/or do anything which may cause annoyance to other users within Turn Beautiful, or other users of 12 Market Street. Turn Beautiful may terminate this agreement forthwith if you fail to observe or perform any obligation under this agreement. For all bookings, this agreement must be signed, and agreed by Turn Beautiful, before a confirmation will be issued.
  • AVAILABILITY

    Rooms can be used by the session or the day. A session is calculated per hour (up to 4 hours) from 08:30-20:30 Monday to Saturday. Anything over 4 hours is classed as a full day, with the room available from 0830-18:30 Monday to Saturday. Use of the treatment rooms outside of these allotted times may be available by agreement but there may be no one within the building. The salon will not be staffed on Bank Holidays, but maybe available for use, by pre-arrangement.
  • RATES OF USE

    Room bookings can be made in advance or Adhoc but may be subject to availability and agreement. These need to be booked via our online booking portal and can be booked per 1hr session (up to 4 hours), or per day. Payment for the hire of each room will be required at the time of booking or at the end of the month by prior arrangement. A minimum of 36 hours notice will be required for cancellation. We recommend that you agree to similar terms with your clients. Treatment Rooms • £12 - Individual session (1hour) • £45 - Full day Training Room • £12 - Individual session (1hour) • £55 - Full day
  • CLIENT PAYMENTS

    Turn Beautiful nor its staff will handle any re-bookings or payments from your client, it is your sole responsibility to organise this with your own clients. Should you wish to retail salon stock, this can be purchased at a 30% discount and only by prior arrangement with Turn Beautiful. This should not be sold onto clients at the same discount.
  • MARKETING - REGULAR USERS ONLY

    This agreement will not cover your own personal marketing costs. Turn Beautiful will provide and maintain a website, manage social media, online booking and the newsletter throughout the year, but individual therapists will be responsible for submitting any individual content that includes their availability. All promotional materials, including google ads brochures, can be entered into but costs would be shared between each therapist who is would like to participate in a marketing fund.
  • ARRANGEMENTS

    Turn Beautiful will take calls into the salon should it occur, if possible and/or time permits handle the enquiry (we recommend using your own contact number) with the utmost professionalism and pass on to you your booking and will be welcoming to your clients. Your clients will have the benefit of the facilities, including toilets, etc. Turn Beautiful will provide you with a furnished, warm, clean, and tidy treatment room. It is your sole responsibility to carry out a consultation form to ensure your client is safe to be in the building and receive treatment. You will be responsible for keeping and storing your own client notes. Turn Beautiful will not be held responsible whatsoever for the loss of client notes, as this will be your sole responsibility. Turn Beautiful will not store or file your client notes on the premises. Turn Beautiful will not be responsible for damage to personal property. All coats and bags are left at your and the client’s own risk. You will be responsible for the removal of any waste generated by your therapy, according to necessary regulations. You will accept full responsibility for your own conduct and that of your clients around the treatment rooms and other clients/users who may be present. You agree to be considerate and courteous at all times in dealing with clients, tenants of the building, and local residents. There are to be no burning objects such as candles without prior permission and you are required to take all necessary steps to comply with health and safety and fire safety standards. The moderate use of music is acceptable, but the level of sound must be respectful to the other users of the rooms and facilities. Food is not permissible in any consultation room overnight or during treatments. Please be aware of food with a strong odour or potential allergy risk so as not to cause a nuisance or harm to others.
  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    You must maintain the appropriate certification, qualifications, and up to date professional liability insurance. Turn Beautiful will not deal with any financial transactions or payment of fees on your behalf. You should maintain full control over your bookings and treatment of your clients, including client records and advertising materials. You should inform your client that Turn Beautiful has no involvement in the professional arrangements between you and your client. You should conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times whilst using the therapy rooms and the building. You are responsible for addressing your client’s conduct if needed. The Shared Space must only be used during the hours that have been agreed and booked. Please double check that the booking has been made correctly as we cannot be responsible for any mistakes that are made. Please vacate the Shared Space as soon as your slot has finished. Other therapists may be using the Shared Space and therefore running over the allocated time slot is not permitted. You are in charge of bringing your own equipment to the salon and any equipment left in the building is done so at your own risk. If you wish to leave equipment, please inform Turn Beautiful you are doing this. Any item left must be stored in an airtight container, appropriately labelled, and easily stowed away in an allocated cupboard. Turn Beautiful will accept no responsibility for personal or professional items left on the premises. You are responsible for the Shared Space and its content during your sessions. Any damage that occurs during this time must be brought to our attention immediately, and if deemed at fault you will be responsible for any repair costs. The Shared Space must be left in a safe and tidy condition so that other therapists can use it immediately after you, please follow the 'Clean Touch Checklist'. If any incidents or accidents occur that require attention, please report it immediately. You do not have the authority to enter into contracts on behalf of Turn Beautiful. It is forbidden to sublet the Shared Space or use it for any other purpose other than what has been agreed. You are not permitted to make a copy of room keys and you are not permitted to give your keys to a third party. Zero-Hours / Ad-hoc use must be booked hourly up to four-hourly basis, anything over this will be classed as a day rental unless agreed otherwise. If you lose the keys, a replacement set can be arranged at an extra cost. If using the key boxes ensure the keys are fully stowed away and the code changed to prevent anyone from accessing the keys without the code. Upon leaving the treatment room please follow our 'Clean Touch Checklist', you must ensure all lights are off, heaters are turned down, windows and doors are closed where applicable. If you are the last person to leave the building, you must ensure that all lights are switched off and the doors have been locked as instructed.
  • COVID-19 / Local Authorities / Government Legislation

    There is a designated waiting space downstairs from the salon area. Please ensure your clients wait in this area until you are able to personally collect them. Please be considerate of other practitioners and clients within the building when moving around the salon to maintain risk assessment and health safety compliance. With the above in mind please familiarise yourself with the current requirements from government with regards to safe practice in salons along with local authority licenses. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you comply with this legislation. If legislation is breached and Turn Beautiful is implicated we will seek compensation. On the reverse of each treatment room door is a Treatment Room Clean Touch Checklist, this can also be downloaded. We ask that you follow this checklist prior to and following your services within the treatment room to ensure everyone's safety. We also ask that if you are not a regular space sharer you complete a Covid-19/Health questionnaire prior to using the salon, this will be sent to you via email prior to your room use.
