Not sure what to book?
Don’t worry, this is really common.
Choose the option that feels closest to what you need, add any additional notes to your booking and your therapist will tailor everything during your appointment.
Before Your Massage Treatment
To help you get the most from your treatment:
-
avoid eating a heavy meal immediately before your appointment
-
arrive in good time so you can settle in and relax
-
let your therapist know about any medical conditions, injuries, allergies (especially to any oils or lotions) or areas of concern
-
tell us if you prefer lighter or firmer pressure
-
let us know if you would rather chat during your treatment or enjoy quiet time
You only need to remove what you feel comfortable removing, however please keep your underwear on and towels will always be used to preserve your privacy throughout the treatment.
After Your Massage Treatment
After your treatment we recommend:
• drinking plenty of water
• standing up slowly, especially if you feel very relaxed
• allowing yourself some quiet time afterwards if possible
• booking follow-up treatments if you are managing ongoing muscular tension or stress
Your body can sometimes feel a little tender or tired after deeper massage work, particularly after deep tissue or sports massage, but this should settle quickly.
Important Information
During your massage
Your comfort is really important to us.
Please feel free to:
-
let your therapist know if you would like more or less pressure
-
mention if anything feels uncomfortable
-
share any concerns at any point during your treatment
Massage should never feel stressful or overwhelming — your therapist will always adapt the treatment to suit you.
Try to breathe normally and allow your body to relax as much as possible. If you notice yourself tensing, just let your therapist know — we can adjust the treatment to help you feel more at ease.
If your mind feels busy during your treatment, that’s completely normal. Focusing on your breathing or the feeling of the massage can help bring you back into a more relaxed state.
Is massage suitable for me?
Massage is generally a safe, non-invasive and relaxing treatment for most people.

A quick note
Massage can be incredibly beneficial, even for many medical conditions.
However, as therapists, we are not able to diagnose conditions, so in some cases we may ask you to seek medical advice before treatment.
