  • Self Critique

    Using the sections below create a critique of your work. Identifying the areas of improvement before your case study is marked helps it to pass. Be aware though that your final case study needs to be perfect.
  • Ensure all areas of the consultation document are complete (ailments have a Y or N, patch test performed properly, brows have been described, the client has signed the form and your timings are complete (any blanks will fail). Have you discussed clients desired look, did you talk to them during the treatment (were they comfortable), have you managed their expectations of the treatment, anything you took into consideration before the treatment.

  • Did you make the right choice for the client and their desired look
  • Are the hairs stretched into a straight line, are they at the correct angle for the face shape and brows. Are the brows sitting correctly, no brows being crisscrossed, any upward-pointing curves?
  • Was your product placement correct, not too high, not too low, removed appropriately.
  • Are all the brows tinted, remember 5 minutes is the maximum time the lashes should be receiving tint. Did the tint need to be reapplied after 3 min?
  • Was it given, did you pass the information to your client. Was any additional aftercare given to them to help with their brow journey?
  • Are all images included? Are they clear? Please say they are.
  • Is the skin clear without any redness? Or if there is redness whether it be prior to the treatment or after what did you discuss with the client
  • Was it successful, does the shape compliment the client? Was the client happy?
  • Are you happy with the outcome? Are there any areas or changes you would make to improve the treatment, what are they and how would you go about it?
