Eve Taylor Calming Aromatic Serum No 2 is an aromatic treatment serum for strengthening delicate complexions often found with thinner textured skin types.  Using anti-inflammatory essential oils to reduce redness and heat in the skin it also provides a protective buffer against environmental pollution.

This unique blend of essential oils aids in strengthening capillaries leading to a healthier, more nourished skin. Easily absorbed plant oils and botanicals, fortify and strengthen the skin’s barrier. Potent aromatic oils intensively reduce inflammation and its beautiful aromatic essence soothes the senses.

Suitable for Rosacea and highly reddened skin including those with dilated capillaries and redness due to weakened capillaries in thinner textured skin.

Couperose: what is it?
Couperose is a chronic skin condition that is caused by the weakening of the blood vessels, located mainly on the cheeks and nose. It is natural for your skin to redden from heat, cold, emotion, stimulants (coffee or alcohol etc), or during physical activity. The blood vessels dilate to let blood flow through them, then close allowing the skin to regain its normal appearance. However, certain blood vessels may have trouble reclosing causing the redness to become more permanent and couperose settles in.

Couperose is usually hereditary, the blood vessels in the skin will gradually lose their vitality. However, it can also be the result of an intense sunburn, surgery, or frostbite.

Could it be Rosacea… Couperose and rosacea: What is the difference?
Couperose is a vascular condition that affects both large and small blood vessels and appears as localised redness in specific areas.

Rosacea is associated with permanent redness that only involves the small blood vessels as well as rashes. It can be seen as the advanced stages of couperose.
The red areas can sometimes be very intense and diffuse, however, combined with pimples similar to those caused by acne this becomes acne rosacea.
