Proud to support Victoria Melody & Major Tom!

One of our longest serving clients, Victoria Melody is taking her award winning show ‘Major Tom’ to the stage for the last time.

You can catch Victoria Melody and Major Tom’s final performance between the 15th and 27th September at Battersea Art Centre.

Having recently won an award ‘The Argus Angel Award’ for artistic excellence, Victoria has produced an award winning show about losers!

Turn Beautiful is a proud supporter of these two ‘not-so’ underdogs, who were always a major hit with us. Victoria has had an extremely successful career but is unfortunately eclipsed by Major Tom in this one 😉

Major Tom is the story of how an average 34-year-old became a beauty queen and her unruly pet basset hound, Major Tom, became a championship show dog. Victoria and Major increasingly immerse themselves in the obsessive and confusing realm of personal scrutiny. They participate as genuine contestants, determined to win. I loved every minute them producing this show and couldn’t wait to hear their updates on each visit.

Victoria is accompanied on stage by documentary film footage of their experiences along with her dog and tells you this TRUE story! I had been party to quite a number of these experiences as beauty therapist and friend. However to be absolutely clear I DID NOT do her ‘fake tan’!! All will become clear when you see the show 😉

I purposely kept myself in the dark of their results as the pair worked their way towards the Mrs England Beauty Pageant and Crufts, until I got to see the show in all its glory. It was definitely worth the wait!!

I laughed so much my belly hurt as Victoria presented, demonstrated and reminded me of all of her and Major experiences. The show definitely puts you in the shoes of another person. Giving you a woman’s and dog’s eye view of the ‘beauty world’. It’s brilliant, it’s hilarious, it’s heartwarming and leaves you feeling proud to have met such an awesome pair!

You can keep up with Victoria’s latest shows and adventures on her website here.

“Startlingly bonkers and utterly ordinary at the same time…deceptively thoughtful fun” – The Guardian

“I laughed till I cried.” –  ★★★★★ The Times
