A Bit of History…
The vision began in 1986 – The brain child of skin therapist and educator Jane Wurwand, Dermalogica was born. Her promise to you is that your skin will never have felt as clean, or as healthy, as after one of our professional services; nor will you leave our Skin Bar without truly understanding your skin, and its needs.

One of our absolute favourite things to do… A chance to get your and our hands dirty! We don’t think it’s enough to show you a box and tell you what it does, and leave you to it. We want to show you!
Firstly we can explain how to use it, show you how to use it, and see what it does! Some of our products are quite unique with their abilities but also how you activate them, plus we want you to get the best possible outcome. We want you to know our products, up-close and personal. Also at Skin Bar, you can learn about your skin again with Face Mapping®, and armed with plenty of steam towels, we can literally go through your perfect regime!
Microzones are the perfect time saver and quick fixer! We do these on ourselves before a night out or a pick me up after a long week! We obviously love our job but rarely want to spend too much time on ourselves when we get home!
As expert skin therapists we first of all analyse your skin, by doing that we can then perform a zone-specific treatment designed to solve your skin problem, all in about 20 minutes… Or you can tell us what you need and we can do that! Even though these treatments are done in record time, they certainly do not fall short on results. With these treatments we use electrical modalities where ever possible to aid exfoliation and product penetration for maximum results in record time!

So whats a touch therapy? Well… Obviously no one knows your skin better than us, but only you know how you feel. That’s why at our Dermalogica Brighton Skin Centre you can customise any Dermalogica Skin Treatment with your choice of Touch Therapies, or in addition to any of of our treatments you can add on 15-minutes of extra attention where you need it most.
During a Dermalogica Skin Treatment we take time in this treatment to offer you a touch therapy, usually this is a facial and shoulder massage with a gentle touch on your scalp (optional). However if you prefer you can choose a different touch therapy from the list below or you can add an extra one on and prolong your experience!!
