  • Self Critique

Using the sections below create a critique of your work. Identifying the areas of improvement before your case study is marked helps it to pass. Be aware though that your final case study needs to be perfect.
  • Ensure all areas of the consultation document are complete (ailments have a Y or N, patch test performed properly, lashes have been described, the client has signed the form, and your design is complete (any blanks will fail). Have you discussed clients desired look, did you talk to them during the treatment (were they comfortable), have you managed their expectations of the treatment, anything you took into consideration before the treatment.
  • Have you assessed them thoroughly, anything you needed to take into consideration
  • Have you managed to lash the inner and outer corners? Have you managed to lash all the lashes? If not is the coverage evenly spaced out?
  • Are the lashes separated, could you comb through them easily? Any stickies?
  • Are the lashes sitting at the correct? No crisscrossed or leaning lashes.
  • Are the bases of the lashes smooth and in line with the natural lash?
  • Ensure your lashes are not too close or too far away from the base of the natural lash.
  • Have you used the correct amount? Too much can cause irritation and stickies, too little will reduce retention.
  • Does the design match the outcome? Does the design suit your client? Is the transition smooth? Anything you would change.
  • Have you included all the images required? Taking the perfect picture allows me to view the overall lash health. Its a good habit to be in incase something happens with a client.
  • Are you happy with the outcome? Are there any areas or changes you would make to improve the treatment, what are they and how would you go about it?
